Le Poesie di Mimma è una semplice raccolta dipoesie provenienti dalla cultura formata in un paesino dellamaremma Toscana: Poggioferro.Mimma non ha la pretesa di essere chiamata poeta, perchè non loè.Ha iniziato quando, per l'età che aumenta, il ritmo della vitarallenta, ed incominciamo a vedere con occhi diversi tutto ciò checi circonda e che abbiamo sempre ignorato.Non avendo avuto alcun grado d'istruzione, da autodidatta consegnacon semplicità (e qualche errore) i suoi pensieri, le sueesperienze e le sue emozioni, che cambiano di volta in volta aseconda della finestra in cui guarda.Mimma ha fatto queste considerazioni, guardando attentamente fuoridalle sue tre finestre.Una è la finestra della sua casa, aperta sulla naturale bellezzadei colli maremmani.Una è la televisione che vomita addosso tutte le miserie del genereumano.E l'altra è il suo cuore, aperto agli affetti, agli amori e alleemozioni che la circondano.The Poems of Mimma isjust a collection of poems from the culture formed in a village inthe Maremma Toscana: Poggioferro.Mimma not claim to be called a poet, because it is not.It started when, for the age increases, the pace of life slowsdown, and we begin to see with new eyes all around us and we havealways ignored.Not having had any level of education, self-taught delivery withsimplicity (and sometimes error), his thoughts, his experiences andhis emotions, which change from time to time depending on thewindow it looks.Mimma has made these considerations, looking carefully out of itsthree windows.One is the window of his house, open the natural beauty of thehills of Maremma.It is a television that vomits on all the miseries ofmankind.And the other is its heart, open to affection, the love and theemotions surrounding it.
